BNZ is tackling basketball's biggest bottleneck -- a critical shortage of community coaches. Basketball is New Zealand's fastest-growing sport, but that growth has outpaced the supply of coaches to match it. BNZ is tackling the shortfall head-on, with a commitment to reach 20,000 community coaches, so every kid who wants to play can.

To extend their positioning of “Invested in Basketball” BNZ teamed up with Russell Westbrook, 9x All Star, and former teammate of New Zealand’s only current NBA player, Steven Adams, to dramatise the fearsome reputation New Zealand ballers have across the world. The film sees Russell expressing mock displeasure at BNZ’s investment in the sport.
